Grange Community College of Further Education has been rebranded and is now known as Dublin College Donaghmede Grange.

Course Fees: All PLC courses have a non refundable €50 acceptance/registration fee. In addition to this fee, please note that specialist training costs, material costs or professional fees may apply to some courses.

This programme is suitable for people who who would like improve their English language skills. They may wish to explore the idea of returning to education. This course is for those with more basic language skills than ESOL for College start (A2, A1). It has been commenced in response to the needs of Ukranian nationals living in the area.

This is a Back to Education course and participants must be eligible for BTEI.

Entry Requirements

Education:

Applicants should have a standard of knowledge, skill and competence equivalent to NFQ Level 3 when accessing a Level 4 programme. Applicants may have participated in primary and secondary education although no formal qualifications are required.

Aptitude:

Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.

Previous Experience:

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a moderate range of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the course, be able to work under direction with some ability to work on their own initiative.
